Tracy Daly

MS, RD

Pilates Instructor and Registered Dietician

Tracy is originally from the Detroit area in Michigan. She found her way into the health field when she discovered the possibilities of improved nutrition in college.

Having been sick quite often as a child, she was drawn to finding out how changes to food intake could improve health. As an adult struggling with infertility, Stage IV Endometriosis, pelvic floor challenges, and multiple gastrointestinal “issues”, nutritional modifications helped her to feel more balanced. Throughout her health and educational journey, her path has taken many challenging and exciting turns.

Tracy is a Registered & Sports Dietitian and holds a master’s degree in Nutrition Education from The Chicago Medical School. She is an Adjunct Professor in the Kinesiology Department at CSU San Marcos, the Nutrition Department at San Diego Mesa College, and the Public Health Program at National University, teaching general and specialized health and nutrition courses in a variety of disciplines. She is the Sports Dietitian for the CSUSM Cougars and has worked with the SDSU Aztecs, USD Toreros, and UCSD Tritons. She specializes in gastrointestinal issues, disordered eating and eating disorders, sport recovery, and behavior modification.

Having practiced Pilates for over 15 years, Tracy wanted to expand her knowledge and ability to help others on their health journey by teaching Pilates and mindfulness. She is a STOTT trained Pilates instructor and loves to incorporate a variety of equipment into individual and group classes to make each session interesting and therapeutic for individual needs.

Whatever your health journey, Tracy is excited to help you to feel more balanced through Pilates and mindfulness practices, to better understand your nutritional needs, and to guide you toward long-term health and improved energy.
